Debra began her career working in a senior community in June 2003. She immediately knew she wanted to create a magazine and travel company for active seniors.

Building on this passion, and with the help of her husband, Greg, and her family, Debra set out to create Celebration Marketing Group, LLC, Celebration Magazine, and Celebration Senior Travel.

 

Throughout this 15-year journey, Debra has experienced the ride of her life!

Having a dream and building a dream are two completely different agendas. Debra worked 15 to 20 hours each day, building her company, brick by brick. In the beginning, she did much of it by herself, hired her first sales person, and then eventually convinced her brother Dan and husband Greg to join her. Today, she has a fulltime staff of 8 and 4 Travel Ambassadors. 

 

Over the years, Debra hired (and fired!) the best of the best for her team. All with the same goal in mind, to build a company that not only inspires people to live their best life, with laughter and joy, but to help grow and nurture the people that make Celebration what it is today.

Life really is full of surprises, and your dreams can come true if you work hard and believe.  Debra always tells her son, Jake... "You can do anything you want, as long as you want it bad enough." She lives by those words every day.
