Hello Celebrationers!
Let me introduce the ThinkBlue team to you. We are internal agents of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, we are licensed and certified to speak, educate, and sell our Medicare Products. We also have Spanish bilingual agents on our team. We are passionate about educating our communities about health insurance, especially Medicare. We are the face of Blue Cross Blue Shield out in the community and enjoy speaking to individuals regarding their Medicare options and helping guide and navigate the complex maze of Medicare. Our team consists of internal licensed agents in the DFW, Houston metroplex and all of Texas. We also have team members in Illinois. Let’s face it Medicare is complicated and overwhelming. We are here to hold your hands along the way to and help find the product that best fits your needs. We offer one-on-one assistance via in person, virtual and phone. To schedule an appointment with us, check out our website www.ThinkBlueTX.com and find a ThinkBlue Specialist to speak with. You can view our calendar on our website to learn more about both our in-person and virtual Medicare seminars. We also have resource tables where you can ask general questions regarding all things Medicare.
We understand in the age of technology there are many ways to connect, but we feel speaking to a live person offers the best connection and customer service. We are bound by our purpose at Blue Cross Blues Shield of Texas “To do everything in our power to stand with our members in sickness and in health”. We have pivoted to virtual seminars during the pandemic and will continue our virtual and in person seminars during Open Enrollment.
Remember Open Enrollment for Medicare happens every year from October 15-December 7. During open enrollment, should you decide to change your plan, your new plan will become effective January first of the upcoming year. We are prepared and out in full force to help you understand our new products and help you make an informed decision. Medicare is a personalized decision for everyone, understanding the various plans or products will help you make the decision that is best for your unique needs. We always get the question, which one should I choose, and our answer is always: “It depends on your situation” Here are some of the most important questions you should ask yourself:
• Does my doctor accept this plan? (Is my doctor in network)
• What hospitals and specialists are in my network?
• What other benefits does this plan have? (Prioritize yourself what’s important, dental, vision, travel benefits etc.)
• What are the monthly costs to have this plan and any other associated costs?
Asking the right questions is vital in choosing a Medicare plan and some may not know even where to start or what questions to ask. The Think Blue team is here to help. We are available by phone, email, virtually, and in person to help you.
