I ALWAYS HAVE YOU IN MY HEART*
(a Love-poem for Valentine’s Day)

I always have you in my heart, from the moment
the sun unfurls its inscrutable loveliness and mystic
power, past the time when the sky adorns itself with
strands of dazzling gems and brooch of moonlight.
Whether you are, at quite a distance or away far,
I still could see you even beyond the mountain peaks
and vastness of swelling seas; I still could hear your
voice even with the roaring sound of thunder; and
I still could feel your immanence as if you’re just
standing close by me or only a breath away.
With you, I can share my poems of love, my pains,
my struggles, devoid of shyness or diffidence.
With you, I can sing our song with passion, and
pray with you and for you on each day fresh and new.
Without you, our dreams may not all be fulfilled, but
you’ll forever be my Poem, my Song, my Prayer,
Because
I always have you in my heart.
