The Richardson Senior Center, organized under the Parks and Recreation Department, provides a wide range of services for citizens 55 and older in Richardson and the surrounding area. We provide recreation programs and classes to enhance quality of life and lifelong learning. We promote good health through health screenings and health promotion programs. The City of Richardson's monthly newsletter, Richardson Today, contains the Richardson Senior Center's newsletter entitled, "Vintage Voices 55 Plus". Our newsletter highlights classes, health and wellness, special events, trips and programs. Our day to day programs are encompassed in our monthly calendar. The Richardson Senior Center is the focal point for older adult services and activities and our goal is to provide those services and activities that will meet the particular needs of the population we serve.
